The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened early Sunday morning.
Troopers say it happened just after 2:00 a.m. on State Route 47 in Harrison Township.
Brett J. Metz, 27, was riding his bike westbound when he went off the road, hitting a ditch and a fence post. He was thrown from the motorcycle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed is considered to be a factor in the crash. Metz was wearing a helmet.
