The ad promises attendees will "get motivated" by some of the biggest names in the business, including Zig Ziglar, Gen. Colin Powell and even Ohio State football coach Jim Tressel, but no oneknows where the event will be held.
Promoters have been advertising a Get Motivated seminar event with ticket prices costing just$1.95.
The ads say the event will be in Columbus on Sept. 20, at Veterans Memorial, but the facility'sgeneral manager said they have not booked the hall, Consumer 10's Kurt Ludlow reported.

"Very disappointed because they are misleading the community, when they were made very clear, told that their event could not happen here," said Veterans Memorial Manager Rodney Myers.
Despite being told the event could not be held at Vets, Myers said the seminar continues toadvertise it as the venue in the ad and online, prompting Veterans Memorial to post an alert of itsown.
"I understand they've called a lot of other venues around town and are trying to get in there aswell," Myers said.
The seminar organizers have called the Ohio State Fairgrounds, Columbus Convention Center,Aladdin Shrine Center, Huntington Park, the Ohio Theater, and the Columbus Athenaeum, looking forspace, Ludlow reported.
None can book the event on that date, Ludlow reported.
Barbara Shepherd is an event planner who said she has never seen an event planned like this. Sheexpected to take dozens of other planners to the seminar.
"How can they falsely advertise this?" Shepherd said. "I thought that's a great deal, well Idon't know if it is or not. It's not much, I'm not going to lose a lot of money, but I think it'smore the principal of the thing."
Repeated calls to Get Motivated Seminars, which is based in Florida, were not returned, Ludlowreported.
