A Morrow County Sheriff’s deputy was named “America’s Most Wanted” 2012 All-Star, 10TV News reported Tuesday.
Deputy Brandon Moore was one of several first responders nominated for the award.
Moore survived a shootout with a man suspected of running a major drug-growing operation in October 2010.
The deputy was shot three times in his torso and leg.
Investigators said that Shane Roush had more than 1,000 marijuana plants growing in a greenhouse behind his Morrow County home.
Roush was sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2011.
Moore was nominated for the Congressional Badge of Bravery and the National Medal of Valor in 2011.
