Police arrested a man after a chase in north Columbus.
The chase began shortly after midnight Wednesday when officers say they stopped a man on a moped for a violation.
The man took off, hitting a police cruiser.
Police say he crashed the moped at North 4th Street and East 4th Avenue.
The man tried to run away on foot, but police quickly caught him.
Officers say they also found a bottle of liquor next to the moped.
