Police on Tuesday said a convicted sex offender has been able to evade law enforcement in Ohioand Michigan.
Calvin Turpin was labeled a Tier II sex offender in 1991 after being convicted of a sex crimeagainst a young girl in Michigan, CrimeTracker 10's Angela An reported.
Recently Turpin, 39, moved to Franklin County, but has failed to register his address.

He has several tattoos which could help identify him; the nickname "Turp" on his arms and neck;a tear drop tattoo under his right eye; and a double heart tattoo on his right arm.
Turpin was last known to be living on the east side of Columbus.
A reward has been offered for information on Turpin's whereabouts. Anyone with information isasked to call 614-461-8477.
