Tens of thousands of people spotted a bright flash light up the night sky around 11:30 Friday night.
Video was captured in Greenwood, Indiana of the meteor as it lit up the sky.
10tv received dozens of calls and emails shortly after the meteor was spotted.
We quickly confirmed with Columbus Police the flash was not caused by a plane and that no damage had been reported.
CNN is reporting the flash was in fact caused by a meteor.
