Police were called to investigate a shooting on the north side that left a man dead early Saturday.
The shooting occurred at about 3:47 a.m. at a home located at 1421 Myrtle Ave., 10TV News reported.
According to investigators, Shawndel Woods was shot in the back inside the residence.
Woods, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene, 10TV News reported.
Police questioned people inside the home at the time of the shooting, homicide detectives said.
No arrests were immediately made.
