A man was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after being shot in west Columbus.
A witness called to report the shooting around 4:30 a.m.
It happened in the parking lot of a Marathon Gas Station on S. Central Avenue and Sullivant Avenue.
Police said the victim was a 25-year-old man. He was transported to Mount Carmel West with non-life-threatening injuries.
The gunman ran away from the scene. Police said the victim knew the shooter and are searching for the suspect.
Officers said there were several witnesses and possible surveillance video of the shooting.
