A man pleaded guilty Tuesday to several charges stemming from the death of his girlfriend'smother last year.
Casey Pigge pleaded guilty to several charges in connection with Rhonda Sommers' slaying,including aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and arson.
Pigge also admitted setting her apartment on fire to hide the evidence.
"He needs to be hurt as bad as our family member was hurt," said Courtney Netral, Sommers'niece. "I know he has a history, but he knows right from wrong."
Under a deal with prosecutors, Pigge could be sentenced from 20 years to life in prison withoutthe possibility of parole.
He will be sentenced on Nov. 6.
