A man charged in connection with the disappearance and death of a woman in 2004 pleaded guiltyon Tuesday to her slaying and last year's deaths of his mother and her boyfriend.
Robert P. MacMichael was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole,10TV's Maureen Kocot reported.

As part of the deal with prosecutors, MacMichael eliminated the risk of receiving the deathpenalty.
MacMichael’s father, Robert MacMichael Sr., said he was hopeful that prison would change hisson.
“He’s broken my heart lots of times,” said MacMichael Sr., “but this one put me over the edge.”& amp; amp; amp; lt; /p>
MacMichael, 26, faced murder and tampering with evidence charges in connection with the death ofAshley Howley.
MacMichael was dating Howley, 20, at the time of her disappearance four years ago.
Howley filed a report on June 16, 2004, claiming that MacMichael had assaulted her. Shedisappeared the same day.
Howley's remains were found on April 4 off Edgecliff Road, near state Route 315, on the city'snorth side. According to prosecutors, Howley’s remains were found encased in quick cement.
MacMichael was charged earlier this year with the slayings of his mother and herboyfriend. The bodies of Barbara-MacMichael-Rush and Greg Bartee were discovered inside aMinerva Park home on Dec. 26, 2007.
According to prosecutors, MacMichael strangled his mother and beat Bartee to death with ashovel, Kocot reported.
Kerry Combs, Howley’s cousin, told 10TV that MacMichael showed no remorse during Tuesday’s courtproceedings.
“He had no reaction on his face when he was charged,” Combs said. “No remorse whatsoever.”
