COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are investigating a shooting on Karl Road, near East Cooke Road.
The report of the shooting came into dispatchers around 1:30 Friday morning.
Officers discovered a man with a gunshot wound to the back.
EMTs transported the man to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital for treatment. He is currently in critical condition.
According to police, the woman suspected of pulling the trigger left the scene but later returned. She is now being questioned.
