A man was killed Sunday when he lost control of his car and struck a tree in southwesternFranklin County.
The crash happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Harrisburg Pike south of state Route 665.
Witnesses told deputies that Jordan R. Rieser, 21, was trying to pass another vehicle onHarrisburg Pike when he crashed.
Rieser was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Deputies said drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the crash.
The wreck remained under investigation.
