Man Accused Of Striking Children Ordered Away From Walmart

Police think there might be more victims out there after a man is caught on tape punching children inside a Walmart.

A judge on Friday ordered a northwest side man be held under $150,000 bond after he was accusedof attacking children inside a Walmart store this week.

Ralph Conone was arraigned in Franklin County Municipal Court, 10TV's Patrick Bell reported.

Franklin County Municipal Judge Mark Hummer said that if Conone, 68, posts bond, he must stayaway from victims and all Walmart stores.

Prosecutors said that Conone punched at least four children at Walmart, located at 2700 BethelRoad on the northwest side.

According to police, Conone took a key and struck it between his fingers, and then made a fistas he struck the children.

Officers said that they think there might be more victims who did not report the incident topolice.

The mother of a 6-year-old boy confronted Cocone on Wednesday night after one of the incidentstook place, police said.

Hummer commended her for taking action, Bell reported.

The mother, who was not identified, said her son was treated for a cut and bump to the back ofhis head.

Conone was described as being manic depressive and is on several medications by his publicdefender.
