A 74-year-old man who disappeared from a nursing home was found safe on Thursday.
Police said John Rothney was last seen at Summerville Nursing Home, located at 690 Cooper Rd.,at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, 10TV News reported.
Investigators said Rothney left the nursing home with an unauthorized person.
He is a diabetic and did not have his medication with him when he left, police said. Rothneyalso has a mild case of dementia.
Police said Rothney was found safe at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday. It was not immediately knownwhere Rothney was located.
