10 Investigates has learned that another state corrections worker was injured while working at aMadison County correctional facility last week.
Allory Hooper was found with a head injury on Thursday, while working at the MadisonCorrectional Institution, 10 Investigates' Paul Aker reported.
A spokesman for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction said that an inmateattacked Hooper, apparently with a padlock.
Hooper is expected to be released from a hospital on Monday, a DRC spokesman said.
Last March, another corrections officer was assaulted while working at the institution.
Inmate Keith Dewitt was responsible for the attack. The guard who was attacked suffered seriousinjuries and has not returned to work.
