Ohio man wins $500,000 on scratch-off ticket in Guernsey County

BYESVILLE, Ohio — An Ohio man is a big winner after he purchased an Ohio Lottery scratch-off in Guernsey County.

According to the Ohio Lottery website, Terry won $500,000 on Thursday after purchasing a Triple Red 777 scratch-off at Clark Gas, located at 210 East Main Street in Byesville.

After state and federal taxes, he will take home approximately $360,000.

Triple Red 777 is a $10 scratch-off with a top prize of $500,000. As of Sept. 20, the Ohio Lottery has three top prizes remaining in Triple Red 777.

Other top prize winnings on the ticket include $20,000, $10,000 and $1,000.

The Ohio Lottery says the overall odds of winning any prize in the Triple Red 777 game are 1 in 3.34.
