COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman was seriously injured during an assault in the Short North early Thursday morning.
According to Columbus Police Sgt. Joe Albert, officers were called to the 1100 block of North High Street around 1:15 a.m. for a report of an assault.
Officers found a woman suffering from significant lacerations to her head and neck area. She was taken to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in serious condition.
There is no suspect information. Albert said the woman was not able to speak with officers at the scene due to her injuries.
