COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 60-year-old woman is dead and two others are injured after a crash in Pickaway County Friday evening.
The crash happened at the intersection of state Route 762 East and Ashville Pike in Harrison Township around 8:15 p.m.
A Honda Civic was at a stop sign and entered the intersection, failing to yield to oncoming traffic, the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office said. It collided with a Chrysler Town and Country that had three occupants inside.
The driver of the Chrysler and one of the passengers were taken to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown.
The other passenger, identified as 60-year-old Laura Lingo, was taken to Mt. Carmel Grove City where she later died.
According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of the Honda was treated at the scene and released.
The crash is under investigation.
