COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman who allegedly shot two Franklin County sheriff deputies on July 21 is indicted on assault and weapon under disability charges.
Monica Justice, 53, was arrested after a standoff with SWAT officers for several hours and allegedly shooting two Franklin County deputies.
She initially appeared in court on July 28 and was ordered to be held on a $4 million bond.
According to Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien, Justice was indicted by a grand jury on two counts of felonious assault and two counts of having a weapon under disability.
Two additional felonious assault charges were filed for two other deputies that were on the porch at the time the other two deputies were shot.
Justice will appear for her arraignment in Franklin County Common Pleas Court on August 3.
