COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man is under arrest after allegedly shooting a woman, leaving her in critical condition
Columbus police say they were called to the 700 block of East Columbus Street around 10:45 a.m. on a report of a shooting Saturday morning.
Police say a woman was shot multiple times inside a car. The woman was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Officers determined the woman was sitting in the front seat of the car and 18-year-old Alonzo Lewis was sitting in the rear passenger-side seat and shot the woman through the back of her seat.
A witness who was also inside the vehicle identified Lewis as the shooter.
Lewis is currently being held at the Franklin County Jail.
