Flooding on Sawmill Road in northwest Columbus after water main break

An area of northwest Columbus is flooded after a water main break Monday morning.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A water main break caused flooding in the parking lot of a shopping center in northwest Columbus early Monday morning. 

The break was reported around 4 a.m. at Trillium Crossing and Sawmill Road, according to Columbus police. 

Police said it caused flooding in the neighboring parking lot of the Sun Center shopping area. Roads adjacent to the parking lot were not impacted.

Authorities did not provide an estimated time for when the area would be cleared.
