COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 41-year-old man is dead after they were shot near Nationwide Children's Hospital Monday night, police said.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, Larry Edwards walked into the hospital with a gunshot wound around 10:30 p.m. Police said he was shot while driving on Parsons Avenue.
Edwards was listed in critical condition before he ultimately died from his injuries at 11:01 p.m.
Police believe the shooting happened right outside the hospital on Parsons Avenue, but additional information was not available.
