Many people in central Ohio reported the inability to make or receive calls Monday afternoon.
Verizon has not put out an official statement or released any details on the reported outages.
Customer service representatives from Verizon Wireless Support are responding to customers who have reported experiencing issues via Twitter.
The support staff stated the company is ‘experiencing a wireless network issue’ in the area and their technicians are working to resolve the problem.
Verizon has not stated what is causing the outage and there are no details on a restoration time for those experiencing the issue.
