Urban Meyers is scheduled to open Friday afternoon in Dublin’s Bridge Park.
Ahead of the opening, 10TV’s Karina Nova got a look inside and spoke with Urban and his wife Shelley about the restaurant.
Urban said he decided to open the restaurant in Dublin because he loves the community. His favorite item on the menu is Forno’s linguine and clams.
The restaurant walls are covered with memorabilia from Meyer’s basement, including items from his coaching days at Bowling Green State University to Ohio State.
Meantime, Shelley’s love for flamingos influenced a few of the specialty drinks. That includes a Flamingo Punch, which comes in a shareable golden flamingo punch bowl.
When asked, Urban did say it will be fine for people to wear blue jeans into his restaurant but says consider staying away from the blue shirts.
The restaurant and bar open to the public Friday at 3 p.m.
