COLUMBUS, Ohio – A lieutenant with the Upper Arlington Police Department is facing a misdemeanor count of soliciting according to Franklin County Municipal Court records.
Upper Arlington police confirm Lt. Jeffrey Conrad is on paid administrative leave after the incident on Jan. 10,
According to court records, Conrad responded to a decoy ad placed by an undercover Columbus police officer on Backpage.com.
Court records state Conrad met the undercover officer at the Varsity Inn on Olentangy River Road to exchange money for sexual activity.
Conrad is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
