UNION COUNTY, Ohio - A home in Union County was destroyed by fire on Thursday and the cause is under investigation.
Someone drove past the home on Hinton Mill Road around 4:45 a.m., saw the flames and called for help, according to the Jerome Township Fire Department.
The Union County Sheriff's Office closed Hinton Mill between State and Smart Cole Road due to the fire.
A fire chief on the scene told 10TV the people who live at the home were not there at the time of the fire.
There are no reported injuries.
