COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus Blue Jackets will have a special intermission performance by Twenty One Pilots during their game against the Detroit Red Wings next year.
The performance will be on March 1 during the 2025 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series. The matchup between the Blue Jackets and Red Wings is outdoors and will be held at Ohio Stadium.
It will be the first time Columbus has played an outdoor game. There are only two other franchises that have not played outdoors — the Arizona Coyotes and Florida Panthers.
The band, made up of vocalist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, is currently on a world tour for their seventh album, “Clancy.” Both artists are from Ohio and Joseph attended The Ohio State University.
To commemorate their return, Ohio State students will have an opportunity to use their school email address to purchase specifically priced $20.99 tickets to the game.
General tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.
