PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A former Teays Valley teacher's aide charged with rape has changed her plea on Thursday.
Last year, 33-year-old Mandy Davis pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Pickaway County Sheriff Matthew Hafey said an investigation was launched after an employee of the school reported an "odd relationship" between Davis and a student.
Deputies arrested Davis after conducting the investigation.
Davis was terminated by the school district last year.
Davis changed her plea to guilty to one count of rape on Thursday, according to the Pickaway County Prosecutor's Office.
A sentencing date has not been set yet.
