GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio - Police said the suspect wanted for robbing a bank in Grandview and arrested in New Jersey is now back in Ohio.
Grandview Heights police said 60-year-old Karl Schlenker is the person who allegedly robbed the PNC Bank on First Avenue on January 31.
Police said Schlenker handed the teller a note that said if they gave him any problems he would detonate an explosive.
Detectives said Schlenker left a bag at the robbery scene, which prompted a call to the Columbus Bomb Squad.
The scene also locked down schools in Grandview Heights for part of the afternoon.
Schlenker was brought back to the Grandview Heights Police Department on Wednesday to face the charges against him.
