LONDON, Ohio - Police say that Tevin Jackson, 24, turned himself into police in Springfield midday Sunday.

Jackson, 24, has been charged with murder according to court documents.

London, Ohio police posted on social media on Friday that Jackson was wanted for murder in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Lamplight Court, Jan. 22.

Jackson turned himself into Springfield Police at 12:10 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Investigators said at about 11:30 p.m. Monday, two men entered the victims' apartment and there was an exchange of gunfire that ended two lives.

Neighbors said a man who lives in the apartment, 28-year-old William Benson, collapsed in the front yard and died. Neighbors said Benson's roommate, 28-year-old Zachary Edmond, shouted for help.

Police said one of the suspects who came to the apartment, 24-year-old Justin Coffey, ran outside and collapsed a short distance from the apartment.

Medics rushed Coffey to the hospital but he later died. Police believe a fourth man involved in the deadly exchange of gunfire later showed up at a hospital in Springfield suffering from a gunshot wound.

At this time, that person isn't facing criminal charges, but neighbors said the men who lived in the apartment recently installed a home security camera, and said police are reviewing the footage for possible evidence.

Neighbors told 10TV the apartment is "a known drug house" but a source close to the investigation said police found no substantial drugs or money inside the apartment.

Police say they're still investigating a possible motive behind the shooting, and whether the men knew each other.
