COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Hilliard man turned himself in to police on Wednesday after a warrant was filed for his arrest following the shooting death of a 36-year-old man last week, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Police said Rashaud Roberts, 34, turned himself in at the Hilliard Police Department around 2 p.m. after learning of his warrant that was filed on Tuesday.
Roberts is charged with one count of murder in connection to the shooting death of Isaac Price in northeast Columbus on April 12.
Officers were called to the 2000 block of Lisa Drive, just after 11:20 p.m. on reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found Price suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators believe Price was attending a house party when an argument ensued and during the argument, Price was fatally shot.
The investigation is ongoing.
