COLUMBUS, Ohio — The 2024 Susan G. Komen Columbus Race for the Cure kicks off on Saturday.
The annual breast cancer awareness and support race is taking place at North Bank Park on 311 West Long St. in Columbus.
There are two courses participants can do: the 5k run/walk course which is 3.1 miles in length and the Family Fun Walk which is 1 mile long.
Participants can hop on the treadmill, run outside or take park paths to join in on the celebration and event.

7:50 a.m. | Survivor Photo behind Hope Village; Parade of Hope Lines Up
8:10 a.m. | Opening Ceremony Begins; Parade of Hope Kicks Off
8:30 a.m. | 5k Run/Walk Begins; 1 Mile Walk to Follow

Road Closures
- Long Street will be closed from Hocking Street to Marconi Boulevard.
- Spring Street will be closed from West Street to Hocking Street.
- Neil Avenue will be closed from New Public Way to Long Street.
- Cozzins Street will be closed from Nationwide Boulevard to Spring Street
- Hanover Street will be closed from Nationwide Boulevard to Long Street.
Race Course
COTA REROUTES
COTA says those riding public transportation near the location of the race on Saturday should expect delays and reroutes.
Starting at 5 a.m., the race will reroute lines 1 through 12, Line 102, CMAX and Zoo Bus in the downtown area. This will close many transit lines on North and South High streets, Rich Street, Town Street, West Broad Street, Long Street and Nationwide Boulevard.
Residents should expect significant delays until approximately noon on Saturday.
