CRESTLINE, Ohio — One person was killed and two others were injured after a house explosion in Richland County Friday afternoon, according to the state fire marshal.
First responders were called around 1:30 p.m. to a single-family home on Hook Road in Springfield Township, located just outside the village of Crestline, on a report of an explosion and fire.
The state fire marshal said investigators were told one person was pronounced dead at the scene and two people were transported to local hospitals.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
