COLUMBUS, Ohio — A person suffered from life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on the city’s southeast side on Tuesday, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Just before 5:54 p.m., a person got off a COTA bus and attempted to cross Whittier Street at South Wilson Avenue.
Police said a 2016 Ford Fusion was heading westbound on the road and struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to Grant Medical Center in life-threatening condition. It Is not clear whether the driver stayed at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
