COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police are investigating a possible double shooting in east Columbus Tuesday morning.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, one shooting victim was dropped off near Nationwide Children’s Hospital at South 18th Street and Children’s Drive just before 7 a.m. They were then taken to Grant Medical Center by medics in what police described as "stable" condition.
The other victim in the shooting walked into Grant Medical Center, police say. Their condition is unknown at this time.
Police say there was a ShotSpotter call in the 500 block of South Champion Avenue, located near Nationwide Children’s, just before they were made aware of shooting victims. They are now investigating.
A sergeant on scene told 10TV that they believe the victims were from the same incident.
No suspect information has been released.
