COLUMBUS, Ohio — Police are investigating after shots were fired outside a hotel near John Glenn Columbus International Airport on Saturday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the airport said police responded to a report of shots fired in the parking lot of the Residence Inn on International Gateway.
They confirmed that a weapon was discharged and there were no injuries.
The situation is contained and there is no threat to the public, the spokesperson said.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Airport police will continue to investigate.
