COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was seriously injured in a shooting on the city’s northeast side Sunday evening, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called to the 4700 block of Heatherton Drive, near Northtowne Park in the Northland neighborhood, around 9:50 p.m. on a report of a shooting.
One victim was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in serious condition. Police say the victim's condition is now described as "stable" as of 10:40 p.m.
No suspect information has been made available.
It’s unclear at this time what led to the shooting.
