COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was injured in a shooting near Wolfe Park on the city’s east side, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Columbus Police Sgt. James Fuqua said the victim is a female. She was taken to Grant Medical Center and is described as being in stable condition.
It’s unclear at this time what led up to the shooting and where she was shot – whether it was at the park or outside of it. The park is located just east of the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens off East Broad Street.
No information on a possible suspect has been released.
