COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Seven people have been displaced after a house fire that happened Saturday morning in south Columbus.
The fire happened in the 1000 block of South Ohio Avenue. Firefighters responded to the scene around 6:40 a.m.
The Columbus Division of Fire says no one no one was hurt. One person in a wheelchair needed help getting out of the home.
Fire officials say they don't believe there were working smoke detectors inside the home.
The Red Cross is providing assistance to the home's residents.
