COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A second COTA bus driver has tested positive for the coronavirus, the agency announced Tuesday.
COTA was informed of the second positive test on April 6.
COTA officials said they learned on March 27 that the first bus driver had tested positive.
COTA said both drivers last drove a COTA bus on March 12.
The routes the drivers operataed on were not released by COTA, which cited privacy concerns.
All COTA vehicles are sanitized daily using solutions approved by the CDC.
COTA said fabric surfaces, including cloth seats and coth handles are sprayed with Lysol, which kills 99 percent of all germs and is approved by the CDC.
To promote social distancing, customers are required to board and exit buses through the rear door.
