Motorcyclist killed in Ross County crash involving SUV

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A man was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Ross County Thursday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Around 6:20 p.m., the driver of a 2021 Ford Edge was heading south on Camelin Hill Road with two juvenile passengers. Meanwhile, 46-year-old Morgan Bray was heading northwest on Camelin Hill Road in a Yamaha Yz450.

OSHP said Bray failed to negotiate the curve and traveled left of center, striking the Ford Edge. Bray died from his injuries as a result of the crash.

The driver of the Ford Edge and the passengers were not injured.

The Twin Township Fire Department, Bainbridge EMS and the Ross County Coroner’s Office assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
