ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A motorcyclist was critically injured when he crashed into a utility pole in Ross County on Monday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Just before 6:15 p.m., a man riding a 1999 Harley Davidson 883 motorcycle was heading north on state Route 772. While approaching up-ahead traffic in the northbound lane, the motorcyclist crossed the centerline and overturned.
OSHP said the motorcyclist traveled off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole and a ditch.
The motorcyclist was flown to Grant Medical Center for serious injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
