Power has been restored for thousands of AEP Ohio customers in the east Columbus and Reynoldsburg area for the second time this week.
According to AEP, there were approximately 13,845 customers without power Friday.
Customers in east Columbus and Reynoldsburg were without power for several hours Thursday after reported equipment failure at a substation.
AEP said crews were sent to the same substation and determined it is the same issue that caused the power outage on Thursday.
As of 7:45 p.m., the AEP Ohio outage map showed the power had been restored. It is unclear when the power actually came back on.
