Reynoldsburg police arrested a Columbus man accused of using a butcher knife during a robbery.

Police said Antuan Shackleford is accused in two robberies over the last two days.

The Family Dollar located in the 6300 block of E. Livingston Avenue was robbed on March 13. Police said Shackleford pulled a large butcher knife out and demanded cash from an employee. He fled before officers arrived.

On March 14, patrol officer Katherine Mielke responded to a robbery in progress at the Golden China Restaurant on Brice Road. The suspect was in the restaurant and armed with a knife.

Officer Mielke arrested Shackleford after he ran to another store.

Police said Shackleford admitted to both robberies.
