COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police is seeking to identify more persons of interest possibly connected to the shooting death of a man outside a Waffle House near Ohio State's campus last week.
Detectives say a fight started inside the restaurant on North High Street around 2:30 a.m. on April 29. The fight spilled outside and a shot was fired, striking 38-year-old Ronald Diggs. He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Records from Franklin County Municipal Court state that the gunman, identified as 19-year-old Jaquan Curry, allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot Diggs in the chest. Curry was charged with murder and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Police released photos on Tuesday of four persons of interest in the case.
Police also released photos last week of three other individuals who are possibly connected.
Anyone who knows where Curry is or has information on the persons of interest is asked to contact Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
