COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five people were injured in a three-vehicle crash during a police pursuit in south Columbus on Thursday.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, the crash happened just after 4 p.m. in the 3600 block of South High Street.
Columbus Fire Battalion Chief Jeffrey Geitter said four people were taken to Grant Medical Center and another person was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Police said a vehicle took off from officers in the area of South High Street and Williams Road. The vehicle crashed and several people were taken into custody.
