COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is seriously hurt after they were struck by a vehicle on the city's northwest side early Sunday morning, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called to the intersection of West Henderson Road and Wendys Drive just after midnight on reports of a pedestrian struck.
The driver stayed on scene following the incident, police dispatchers told 10TV.
The pedestrian was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital, initially in serious condition. Police said their condition has since been downgraded to critical.
Police did not provide additional information about the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
