COLUMBUS - Police are investigating a deadly shooting at a gas station in southeast Columbus.
Officers received the report which was picked up by ShotSpotter just before 6:30 a.m. at the Mobil Mart gas station at 830 Parsons Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Kenneth Jackson, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound and he was taken to Grant Medical Center in life-threatening condition where he later died.
The suspect was wearing a black mask with black clothing and fled the scene.
