Columbus Police said a man has died from drowning after going into the Scioto River just north of Fishinger Road Monday night.
According to authorities, people had noticed a car at Griggs Reservoir Park playing music for a couple hours.
Someone at the scene had spotted clothes by the water.
Police said the victim, only identified as a Hispanic man at this time, jumped in the water and may not have realized there was an 18-foot drop-off in the water.
Dive teams were able to locate the body in the water.
