COLUMBUS, Ohio - Police said there were two juveniles in a stolen car that crashed into a COTA bus in downtown Columbus Friday afternoon.
The vehicle was reported stolen from the 200 block of Hanover Street just before 1:45 p.m. The crash happened just before 2 p.m. near the intersection of East Town Street and Lester Drive.
A police helicopter was pursuing the vehicle at the time of the crash, dispatchers said.
Police said the car was headed southbound when it did not stop at a stop sign and crashed with the bus that was headed eastbound.
One juvenile that was in the car was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital to be treated for injuries and the other was taken into police custody.
A passenger on the bus was also taken to a local hospital.
None of the injuries are life-threatening, according to police.
